Extraordinary HR leaders are thoughtful about culture, deliberate about growth, and attentive to what people need to thrive.

Strong company culture goes hand in hand with people feeling seen, supported, and empowered. Women are leading the charge here in a powerful way.

In a special series from Wednesday Women, we're shining a light on the leaders that are driving HR & Talent forwards. These women are leading teams in fields ranging from robotics to AI, from healthcare to SaaS. As the demands of HR & Talent shift and evolve, these leaders are the ones thinking in a future-forward, human-centric way.

Why is this series important? Women are historically underrepresented in leadership roles. Only 30.6% of leadership positions are held by women. This number has risen just 0.2% since 2022. And female representation drops dramatically at each ladder rung on the leadership journey. The spotlight series we run are a step toward addressing this gap in representation – as well as a way to build community.

Whether you're looking for your next keynote speaker, podcast guest, expert panelist, or simply want to diversify your network—these are the women to watch, learn from, and be inspired by.

This series is made possible by our generous partner, Booth – bringing high-performing talent, specialized skills, and AI-enabled support to companies that want to grow without sacrificing culture, quality, or control.

See Rhonda's feature post and read about this leader ith a passion for cultural transformation through strategic partnerships, intentional design, and meaningful interactions.

As VP of Human Resources at MountainView Hospital, she believes in something every organization should remember:

People are the secret to the success of any business.

See Courtney's post to read about her deeply passionate about mentoring, networking, and building communities of leaders who actively support one another’s growth.

Courtney is the Chief People Officer at Southwind. She's a dynamic executive known for being a strong, honest, and direct business partner with a knack for conflict management and human relations. She describes herself as “not your average HR professional.” And her approach to leadership reflects exactly that.

With experience spanning restaurant, franchise, and hospitality brands like Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria, Houlihan’s Restaurants, and IHOP/Applebee’s franchise operations, she’s built and scaled people strategies for high-growth, multi-location businesses.

Her advice to people early in their career?

Never be too proud to ask for help.”

See Sarika's post to read about a business-minded executive leader who believes the best companies grow when business performance and human performance move together.

She's the Chief People Officer at Vidyard, where she’s leading human-centered AI transformation and helping teams rethink how work gets done through smart, secure, and practical adoption of AI and automation.

AI is a big topic on LinkedIn, and Sarika is diving headfirst into the discussion. She talks a lot about AI transformation that empowers people. She's intentionally sharing the learnings, the misses, and the practical ‘here’s how to start’ steps. She wants more people to feel confident, not intimidated, as they build their AI muscle. And she feels a responsibility (and privilege) to use her seat and platform to help others navigate this moment in a way that’s human, useful, and real.

Her message to fellow people building their career?

Stay in learning mode as long as you can. And don't do it alone.

See Megan's featured post to meet a high-impact HR leader, focused on value creation through human capital.

She is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Xactly Corp, where she leads the company’s global HR strategy, including talent development, organizational effectiveness, and culture. Megan is passionate about building high-performance teams, fostering a vibrant, regenerative company culture, and driving meaningful change. She has over 20 years of HR leadership experience across both emerging and large-scale organizations. Prior to joining Xactly, she held leadership roles at Boomi, Jumio, Wrike, Bosch, and more.

Her advice to fellow women?

Own your growth, own your path. It's never too early (or too late) to build your own personal board of directors: 3-5 people who will help you along your journey.
